heart of glass

today marked another milestone in the b+p story — the new album that we’ve slaved over for more than 8 months is done with mixing. great thanks to scott solter, based out of monroe NC for a fantastic mixing job. scott has worked on some of our favorite albums by spoon, john vanderslice, and division day.

now we’re hitting the road and sxsw and looking to have some fun !

we have a couple of shows coming up in the nyc area — february 5 at glasslands gallery in williamsburg and february 6 at pianos in the LES — see you there!

b+p hits austin and beyond…

what a week. we’ve been writing/composing like devils while preparing to head down to austin next week. and we had a tremendous show at mercury lounge last week with 2 great bands: anathallo & sam amidon. the room was packed and full of energy despite the cold mid-week night. thanks to radio flyer & gothamist for shout-outs!

bridges and powerlines has committed to the 27 hour haul to austin for sxsw this year, but we need a show! (probably should have thought about it sooner huh?) so if you hear of anything, please let us know! we’re available for birthdays, bar mitzvahs etc etc
